We are excited to announce that we have successfully completed the work on the Terra Cat project at Waterloo Business Park – Terra Cat’s new national headquarters.
About the Property
Spanning an impressive 24,270 square meters, the Terra Cat facility features state-of-the-art amenities tailored to support the industrial and commercial needs of both Terra Cat and Sime Darby employees. The facility includes a cutting-edge service branch, a fluid-testing laboratory, and a shared four-story head office for Terra Cat and Sime Darby Motors NZ, bringing together industrial operations and corporate functions under one roof. The purpose-built spaces were designed to optimise efficiency and provide a modern workspace for their teams.
Precision HVAC Solutions for a Complex Build
Our team, led by Beattie Air Project Managers Dean Hollingworth and Grant Holton, handled the installation of a highly sophisticated HVAC system (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). This included Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Heat Recovery Units (HRUs), ensuring seamless climate control throughout the expansive facility. With such a large and complex site, precision was key, and the results speak for themselves.
Despite challenges along the way, including delays from subcontractors, the team went above and beyond to overcome the obstacles, working tirelessly to deliver high-quality results on schedule.
